Hope Town Light House
A visit to the light house will give you a breathtaking view of the harbour
and an insight into the founding of Hope Town. In the early days of the settlement, the
town's people depended somewhat on salvage operations from ships that ran aground on the
reefs off shore. The light house was constructed to minimize this danger. During it's
construction there were many attempts to sabotage the project.
